Hard to believe that blind evolution could produce something like this! I'd rather believe in a creator with a sense of humour!

Looks as if the whole family can go cycling on one machine... I think I would have gone for a lower eyepoint, and cut off the building at the top of the stairs, just so as to concentrate more on those bicyles. (Also I'd have tried to all of the wheels in. ) YOur shots make me feel colour blind when I look at my own!

Oh how I love San Diego. I really like the reflections here in this ever so still water. The masts of the boats are what caught my eye. Good shot Gary. Cheers - Ann

Very unusual treatment. Love the way you've picked up the colour of his eye in the surrounding frame area. This is more photo art than straight portrait. Very effective...

I'm getting so I can recognize your touch from the thumbnail, Gary! Nice one... You didn't make the reflections match the sky but maybe that would be overkill!

Thank you so very much Kelly. I try to submit only those photos that I really feel passionate about. Hoping it's not against the rules here, but please visit my work at www.griedel.photosite.com
I have had no time during the past month to keep up to date but promise to have more entries later this month or certainly in December.
Thanks again for viewing my work.
Regards, Gary

I don't know why I am so attracted to these types of photos of yours. I think they are splendid. The colors are always so bright the pictures sharp and the black backgroud just brings them out that much more. Great job. Kelly

At least with digital you quickly get to see what to keep. I wouldn't even attempt it with my film cameras! I sometimems get worse noise with 800 ISO film, so this looks good to me. I'm not sure flash would have done much better, think of all those reflecting surfaces...
