Hello Francisco,Very artistic result with the lensbaby.Have never used one but would like to try some time.I like flower images with this hint of mystery to them, quite haunting. And then the music started !!!!I was blown away. Excellent work.

Hi Dan,a perfectly captured example of this equally perfect orchid.I think the unusual clashing colours of this speciman makes it extra special.Definately an exotic species, probably a singapore orchid.

Thanks Dan,I love working in window light,I had previously taken the ladies portrait in this space
so must look it out and post it sometime.Being fussy I wished I had turned the cup around to show the handle, but it was just as she had left it.We were lucky with the light while visiting this old house and I have a great series of pics, mainly textures of the old interior.

Thanks Dan,these were amazing conditions as the rainbow was caused through a gale force wind blowing spume off the river. The wind was such it bent hinges on the door of my friends car when I tried to open it.Good picture though and the insurance paid for the damage to the car!!!!!!!

A beautiful example of the arum bloom. The black blackground really makes the bloom show to perfection. It does not looked flashed either as you have managed to retain texture in the white petals which is extremely hard to do especially when using flash.Congratulations and WELL done.

Thanks Dan,Thanks for your comment,I added grain in PS which inhances the textures I think. Yes she was hesitant,I had asked her Mother if I could take the shot as I saw her in the doorway looking SOOOO small, we asked her to stay where she was.I think she was a bit scared as her Mother and I started chatting then I noticed she was still standing in the same place quite a few minutes after i had taken the shot so I had to tell her she could move now.She was a little English tourist,I wish I had got an address as it would be lovely to send it on to them.

Interior shot of Acheron Accomodation House.Once an overnight stop over for farmers and travellers in this extremely isolated high country. Now a Heritage building maintained for us all to enjoy and get a little idea of the hardships our pioneers endured to survive in this extreme enviroment.Enjoy:)

Hi Shirley,This image really appeals to me,appears to have a soft halo around some of the flowers which makes it like an old painting.Lovely colors, and the stone wall makes a great background.

Thankyou Howie for your prompt comment,I would like to point out the fact it was not snow but frost which builds up in foggy conditions.Yes it looks like snow but is quite dry.The temp had been sub zero for days on end so the frost just keeps building up.It is extremely beautiful to observe and usually only happens once or twice a winter in the valleys which are foggy and never see the sun.

Thanks for your comment Shirley, this was a big surprise as I have not been very active lately and this image was one from 2004 so they must dig deep for the images. Now it is winter and that range will certainly be snow covered today as we have snow all around with snow hail and rain showers all day freezing out side so a good time to catch up on computer friends.

Lovely bright poppy nicely composed in frame, the purple in the background is a perfect compliment to the orange-red.I like colour so the BW version does not do it for me. I love theses large poppies but unfortunately i cannot grow these in my garden as drug users watch out for them and trespass onto the property and steal them,I have had this experience and it is most upsetting.Sad world we live in sometimes.
