Thank you Brenzef - Yes, it was focused manually. I was bored one night, it was snowing very hard and just playing around. It took me about 20 shots to get this one. Alot of drips but I liked the "point & ball" of this one. Too bad I did not clean my sink prior to taking. I could have touched up the photo but thought to keep in in the natural look.

I just love the way the paw is just about (or just did) touch the water surface. Add to that the reflection in the water. Just a beautiful shot!

Sorry about the tight crop. Actually this little bird flew into my bedroom window and I kind of watched over him making sure nothing was broken. He ended up flying away about an hour later. There is nothing I could do about the bottom of the photo as there was a wooden structure right there blocking. I actually used this as support for my camera. The one thing I do not like is the green leaf on the right side of him. I removed this for another shot and just when I did he flew away. This little bird is called a "Solitary Viro"

Great colors. Like Fire. I only notice a bit of tilt in the horizon line. I'm told this should be straight

Kevin, I like this shot except I should mention the one rule I have learned from this wonderful site. You should fix the tilt in the photo. The horizon line should be straight.

Armando - Great shot! I happen to grab a photo of a gull at sunrise a few days ago. I am going to post it tomorrow. I know was Ken is saying about the exposure. I just got a digital camera and started reducing exposure for sunrises & sunsets. It makes the colors really come alive! Good photo.

Your right Kaj . . I did not even notice that until you pointed it out for me. I should have erased that in photo shop (the white line right?) That is actually the zipper for the cover on my patio umbrella. Shoot . . . now it's distracting. I'll have to fix this.
