Really like the tones and the composition. Lovely sky and soft whispy clouds set off the silhouettes of the mountains and trees. The moon and stars take your eyes down to the sunset and visa versa. Well done!

Thank you so much for looking. I was having fun playing the Photoshop's features and in this one tried the liquid.

Poor guy - he's been around the block a few times and got a little beat up, huh? Excellent details and color. Like the DOF. One of the very first photos I uploaded was a shot I took up in Flagstaff, AZ of a Swallowtail. Believe it or not, it was hovering around the same kind kind of plant. It had about a 6" wingspan and was the largest butterfly I had ever seen. Not an easy capture and these guys don't stay in one place very long.

What a little doll. Do like the way the focus is on her eyes. Great catch.

Nice shot Jen -Stan is right - great focus on her eyes. You should upload the other ones you took of Ryan and the boys and the shot of all three. They are all really good. Of course I might be a little biased....Ya think?

Right place at the right time - and the right photographer. Well done. This is an outstanding capture and the award is well deserved. Jan

Out of the series I like this one the best for the composition, lighting, and the colors. IMHO the "parts" (of the flower) are better than the whole. Keep 'em coming. You do beautiful florals and macros.

Beautiful sunset - do like the way the water at the shoreline appears to be molten gold. The shot appears to have magically divided itself into three parts - the beach to the first wave is one part, from the wave to the horizon is the second part, and the horizon to the sky is the third. Not quite the 1/3 "ideal", but works for me. Also - congrats on being named Feature Donor of the Day today.

Very spectacular shot. Also, makes me think of Rob - it's of his favorite place. Wonder how he missed this one? Must have been on a trip or working - or both. LOL

This one is my favorite of the series - it has an "after a long day" feel to it. You jumped into just the right spot. Have to put this one in to my favorites. Jan

Refreshing shot and nice composition. The colors are a super feast for the eyes. Sure would like to be there about now. Almost 9 pm and it is still over 100 degrees out where I live.

Nice series Bruce - shades of the old west! Our sunsets up in the Phoenix area sure don't look like these! At least, not very often. Awesome colors - great composition. Jan

Still taking some photos - none worth uploading. Need to have rain in order to get rainbows and rain has been scarce up here. Even when rain comes in - the western areas of the Valley of the Sun are frequently missed.

Yep - you are right and he would have been right there with you or doing something equally as risky to get the "right shot". We are fine - back at you with good wishes. Jan

Beautiful bridge - outstanding night shot. The darkness on the right doesn't lessen the effect the shot for me. My one question would be is there a way to get an equally as stunning a shot without, what appears to be, a railing that cuts the shot not quite 1/2 way up on the horizontal from the right side of the shot to about 3/4th of the way towards the left. Of course when I ask if there is a way to get the shot sans railing, I do NOT mean by doing some risky gymnastics (like some people I know...) just to get a shot. LOL

This one is my favorite of your gardenia series. Sepia and vignetting are a great choice for this very classic "old fashioned" flower. Well done.
