wonderful moody sky, good tones, I just wish max would have entirely in the frame instead of cutting him off just below his back.

Thanks for the kind words Doyle! I actually got 2 more shots of this girl, along with one of her older sister I liked. I need to do some PP work on them over the weekend and post them.

wonderful shot Jonathan! I did a wedding earlier this summer and did a similar shot. The effect is pretty neat with a wide lens also (I shot mine @ 17mm on a full frame 35mm camera.)

Thank you Jonathan. My wife and I just thought she was adorable.... I wanted to take more pics of her, but didn't want her parents to think I was some kind of perv

Thanks for the feedback Doyle. When I pulled this image up in CS to do my editing, I struggled for quite a while deciding if I should tilt it, or leave it how it is.

it's a bit center heavy. Try getting in closer to the flower, or cropping it. All of the excess space around the rose doesn't add anything to the image.

Roya, not exactly sure what you're trying to achieve with this shot? It's extremely over exposed, and doesn't at all showcase the kind of quality you should receive from the equipment you have listed.

Lenny.... I love the pose, and the look in this shot. It appears as though the focus was placed on her breast rather than her eyes. The key to a great portrait is in the eyes.;) I'd also like to see this rotated 90 degrees clockwise; the way it's positioned now it makes her look like she's standing and cramming her head into a padded wall....

I like the persepective alot, however I think the selective coloring ruins the shot.

Thanks Doyle.. this might have actually been less than 1 sec, like around 1/6 a second.. I can't really remember, but the water was moving so fast (it rained hard the night before) I don't think I mamiya could have frozen it anyway.

thanks for the comment Henrick. I normally use 160 NC portra, but because this was going to be an indoor/outdoor affair, I chose to use the 400 VC. I can remove most of the noise with a program like Neat Image... but, I'll leave it up to the bride, she had expressed to me prior to the wedding that she was excited to have her wedding shot with film because she likes the "grainy" look... so we'll see.

CL, the lighting was very difficult for this wedding.. bright sun in the middle of the day If I tried to expose the images so the brides dress wasn't a giant hot spot, everything was under exposed... and vice versa.

Thanks for the comment!
