Nicely done Keith. The one on the uper left looks like it's starting a flip. Didn't know they could do that. LOL. Cheers, Tom

Great shot and well composed. This is what I might expect to see in the terminal after getting off the plane in Omaha.

That's kind of cool. Makes me think of something from a James Bond promo. Well done.

Thanks for the kind words Mary Sue as well as everyone who offered their critique as well.
I have attatched a copy of the image after it was cropped and prior to adding the blue filter.
The background was more or less bare trees and sky but the amber at the lower left and a bit on the right is some fall foliage still hanging on.
That was my reason to look for some camouflage. I felt the amber tones were to distracting from the web itself. The blue overpowered it well and gave what I felt was needed.
This is more than you asked for but when I went out first thing in the morning the air was saturated with moisture. It was VERY misty, you could see the mist in the air currents. The webs had been built the prior night between the ballisters of the handrail leading up the steps. This web, in it's entirety was no more than 6 inches wide and very very fine.
As a slight breeze cleared away the mist it took the webs as well.

You captured the "feel" of the landcape very well and left little to my imagination. Nice job.

Nice shot Bonnie. I like the S curve from corner to corner down the length of the gator. Any closer and you could change to category to "beneath your feet"

Incredible. This is the level I hope we all strive for. I can only imagine how many exposures you made and the time you invested to get this one. Is this evening light ?

Nice picture Beverly. I like the white of the swan as you presented it. You would have lost to much detail and softness otherwise. Nice to see some of your images again.

Looks like you got there at the peak and even beat the Bees to the prize.

Mary Sue, I too hate it when there isn't enough room to keep the subject from crowding the border. I'd love to show you more of this image but this is the full frame. I'll post others you may find more pleasing.

Thanks for your comment Dave. Looks like I was to hasty and clicked on the wrong category by mistake and didn't catch it. I have been having trouble with the frames also but I have now corrected both.
About a year or so ago I got a data recording back for the camera so for the last 170 rolls the exposure information is indisputable. I double checked and yes, it was at f/8. As far as the lens goes, it was at 180mm.
As the old saying goes "f/8 and be there".

Nice shot considering you hand held it for 8 seconds. Imagine how sharp it these images can be when you tape the camera to something solid - even a make shift tripod. You're on the right track for sure.
