I know :-/ I noticed that right before posting, but have friends coming in from out of town tomorrow and didn't have the time to change it...thanks though :-)

...exquisite colors and amazing details, but i find the border to be a little busy and rather distracting once i'm looking at the full image and not just the thumbnail...the image itself though is superb...i might have liked it just a touch better if the camera had been focused on its eye...i don't know if that's just part of the coloring of the bird but it looks a little blurry around the eye...great capture though!

...very nice shot, especially with the clouds and the unique horizon...too many of these sunset/sunrise shots have just a bland, flat horizon (as does one of mine unfortunately) but yours makes it very intriguing...i just wish you had perhaps waited a minute or two longer before taking the shot so that the colors might have been more diverse/interesting...they seem to just kind of fade away in the center...just a personal preference, i love the bolder colors :-) nice shot tho!

...very lovely :-) i just wish that vespa wasn't there and i might have framed it differently so there was more of that beautiful building in the shot, but still very nice...i'm sure you had fun :-)

...i love the difference in focus, but wish the composition was a little better...the idea of having the flag between the branches is great but i wish you could see more of the flag and the cherry blossoms, they are too overpowered by the branches in the way...and there is a little too much empty space...i would have made it a vertical shot (or cropped it vertically) and then tried to position the camera a little higher so there was a better view of the flag...nice shot though :-)

Amazing! it almost looks like watercolors instead of a photo with that etherial glow! and the colors are so bold and vivid...how did you acheive that effect?

I'm always amazed by pictures like yours, such great close-ups of wildlife...especially frogs, since I think of them as being more active and less likely to just sit still, easier to scare. Anyway, great shot - I love the way you focused the picture so that you really concentrate on the face.

such crisp lines, bold colors, and excellent contrast! how much did you digitally alter the colors? well framed/centered and the border is a nice enhancement

i love the colors and contrast! i have to ask though, did you enhance the colors digitally or was it really that beautiful? the only thing i noticed is that at first glance it looks as though the camera wasn't completely level, but maybe that's just because of how the trees on the right are leaning or the angle of the banks...very nice though!

wonderful! it doesn't looked staged or posed at all, just very happy with whatever she's doing...such a hard shot to get but you captured it perfectly, she looks naturally beautiful for a woman her age, like someone with wonderful happy memories of her life that you'd love to hear her share...it looks like it might be a touch out of focus on her face and more focused on the hat, which is the only downside, but your composition is great and very nice choice on the mat you added

Really great shot - interesting perspective. I'm glad you went with black and white instead of color.
