You said "ive used my vivitar 285hv on my old d30 (same voltage) and it worked fine. i havent tried it on my 10D only because i was told eventually the voltage will fry the circuitry in the camera. but it will work right now with no problem. but i just dont want to take that risk. with pocket wizards, perfect!"
Do you still have your 285HV or your D30.

Oh boy I surely know that feeling! I'm working on my small studio. Starting to get some paying jobs and finding out all the things I still yet need. I have four sets of lights and still need more! lol
Nice shot and depth here. I like the angle and pose. Nice point of focus. Nice work.
