Terrific macro Bill. Lovely vibrant colours. As the image was opening up I thought it was going to be something like popcorn floating in a bowl of custard (just my weird imagination).

Wow! Blue background always seems to go great with sunflowers. Nicely cropped and very nice detail showing "mini sunflowers". (Did you get in the calendar?).

Lori, Thanks so much for your nice comments. Yes, I used a bit of increase in saturation,contrast and a touch of unsharp mask during editing. Thanks for visiting. The G500 is a nice camera!

Bill this picture is so beautiful, very warm with excellent details. Thanks for your comments and I encourage you to move to New Hampshire, it is a beautiful state. I lived in New York for one year and all what I can say about it, it was the worst. I hope you live far away from the city.

BTW...the stem doesn't bother me, not on this one anyway. Because the flower is just so gorgeous! AAWESOME detail you have captured! So nice that I had to go see what camera you used!

Simple and beautiful Bill!
I Think I'm tired too post comomns photos every day! But I'have some energi yet! One day I'll put "conceptual" images too.
I prefer color than BW! I think its much better in this case! And I think its a diferente and welcome photo! I like to see some diferents some time!
