An award very well deserved, fantastic composition in every way. Wonderful colours and light, great use of shapes - love the curve of the water and the grasses in the foreground. margaret

Again I like the lines, the compositon, the tones and the filter I think gives it a great effect. Feel I would like a bit more punch/pep, I lowered the levels a bit, I hope you don't mind me experimenting, they are just ideas to be thrown in, it is giving me ideas of how to work on my BW techniques as well Margaret

Excellent composition, really great light/colours and tones. The sharpness is just right. Like the shape/set out of the two grasses. Maybe would have put a tiny bit more space at the top, it feels as though he very top tips of the grass have been cut off. I still rate it 7 though, it is so good. Margaret

Jill I see someone has mentioned the horizon, having just come back from a cruise this is how it looked some of the time LOL . I really like the colours and textures you have captured. The inclusion of the rocks inthe foreground gives interest as well as adding a diagonal angle to the shot. I haev had a twiddle with it for you to see, straightened the horizon, [don;t think it is spot on] and added a bit of blue to the sky and bit more green colour balance in the sea to see if it gave more impact to the horizon, see what you think Margaret

Hi Jim lovely to see an upload from yourself - hope you are still keeping well. This is really great, I like the rotation, and the great lines and colours. I do like textures of grasses/wood etc. Margaret

Wonderful Chris, those glimpses of sunlight [and that is all we seem to have had in the past few days here. Except Sunday for Lucy's blessing the sun shone and it was a beautiful warm day - we were blessed indeed] Love the colours and the real old texture/feel - like part of a 'secret garden' in fact in put me in mind of that book which I haven't read since I was young - and no comments of 'boy that was a long time ago' Margaret
