John-Besides being one of you usual great shots with outstanding color and composition-I really like that smoke stack in the background.Seems to say that things aren't as tranquil as they seem. Take care, Gene

I like the perspective you took with this shot. Very nice composition. The photo gives an atmosphere of relaxation with the chess set and the tropical background.I think the slight tilt of the horizon adds to dominance of the chess set. Nice exposure of the white pieces. For your first post it a very nice photograph. Hoping to see more from you.

I really like this one. It t0ok alot of creative thinking to compose this photo and you did a great job. I especially like the colors coming through the hut window. The sunrise/sunset colors are really wonderful and you timed it perfectly. Regards, Gene P.S. Now I'm going to have to figure out where Oyster Creek is.

Thanks for the kind comments John. This church is located in Allaire State Park. I shot this through the glass on the front door, hand held but I did press the lens against the glass. The church is very old and is really there for display purposes though you can have a wedding there if you desire. Gene

This a very well done composition. I love the reflection on the train as well as the vanishing point of the tracks.Dramatic looking sky also adds to the whole atmosphere of the photograph. Considering the train was moving the shot is nice and sharp.Very good job. Gene
