Great shot Roger.
I really like how the subdued tones you have captured in this picture give a real old feel to the shot.
My only suggestion would have been to crop the left-hand side a little closer to eliminate the distracting brightness of the white truck.
But again, it is a great shot, All the best, Ed

This is a great portrait of her. Your background choice is terrific as it blends without being distracting. My only suggestion would be to crop in a bit closer to get rid of that arm of the chair. It is just a tiny bit distracting. I have attached as a suggestion. Great job!!!

Thank you James, yes it is first in of a few of an old plow. I like the rotation I think I will keep it like that when I frame it. This was shot at an old horse ranch "Hemet Stock Farm" (Scenes from Sea Biscuit were filmed here, I will be adding more images sooon.)

I like this. What is it, an old plow or something like that? Great subject. I hope you were able to take a whole series of shots of this one.
I wonder if you agree, rotating this one stop clockwise gives more balance?

Roger, I don't think you should burn the hair. I really like the hair. Maybe if you brightened the face just a little bit. Looking at it today, I'm really not sure it needs anything done to it. It's a very pretty portrait.

Roger, are you using a hair light, or is there a light behind her? I like the strong light on her hair. But I think the key light should be a little brighter. It's almost having to compete with the backlight. I do like the shadow on the side of her head though. Nice work. I need to work with mine more, and get some more interesting shadows going on.
