Nice image, perfect composition with that sunny out of focus background which makes you concentrate on the sunflower, well done.

Nice museum piece you caught Larry, Glad you posted it in monochrome, I think in colour it would have lost its impact.

You never mentioned the aperture Teunis, guess it was pretty large judging by the light, therefore a limited dof. How did you manage to get such a red sky? a cokin filter.

Robert, I find this shot dificult to understand, It appears that the rudder is missing from the starboard side, or am I imagining it, I also would have liked the plane to have more room in the frame, I realise though you have very little time to get all you want and are sometimes fortunate to get anything at all.

Look like f16s to me, with a two seater bringing up the rear, hope you have some more a/c shots to show us.

Like it Erol, I am guessing this was hand held. It is dificult to use a tripod as you scare the critters, I use a monopod.

Lovely shot, I wonder if by using a poloriser you would lose the reflections, something to ponder over, well done any way Mary.

Now there's a nice shot that will test your skills at the artist's easel, though I think a big slice cropped of the bottom wouldn't go amiss.

Thank's to all of you for your comments I think it will be worth taking all into consideration and having another shot at it. By the way it is a copy from a 35mm slide.

Sorry Timothy, but this doe's nothing for me, my eye keeps going to that white part, and I can see no detail at all, a large white reflecter would possibly have helped.

This would be a cracker if the sun had been low and to the right, Yes Tim, I know you don't get to have your cake and eat it too, if you do a painting of it I guess you will rectify this.

The only fault I can find with this shot is the horizon in in the centre. I would crop a bit of the top or bottom, it doesn't matter which, apart from that an excellent image.

It seems to me Greg that you were 10 minutes to late in taking the shot, otherwise you would have got a lot more detail instead of a dark mass, having said that I guess the sun would need to be out of the picture slightly, Keep trying with different settings.

I think this shot, nice as it is, could be improved if a few of the cars were showing tail lights, there is little to hold intrest in the lower third of the picture.
