Excellet IR capture Patrick, great choice of this nice Church,I corrected a little the blue tint in photoshop {auto color},what do you think?
Many thanks for commenting "Moody river IR"
I think that the colors depend on the subject and weather conditons,in my shot the sky was blue with white clouds,if you use photoshop you can find some IR actions in the web, which can give interesting results
Best regards

I would have struggled to get this shot exposed (without it coming out either really dark, or light)- so I can really appreciate this photo.
Looks like there are plenty of photographic opportunities there.

Good ? Mel. I went back to original and zoomed in on the window. It actually was a stained glass lamp positioned like someone looking back. I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out. thanks. patrick

Is that someone watching you in the window? I love the way the pair of houses are similar, but not exact. The colours on the trees is delightful, and contrast nicely with the buildings and roofs. Very nice indeed!

Nice picture, I like this composition. To me the color is not a problem, I think the blue tone goes well with the church. In my point of view, the electric cables in the front of the church and the dust that appear on the right side in the sky are more distracting than the blue tone. You might try to remove them with a software (or return to the church, cut the cables, take your picture one more time and run away before the police start chasing you LOL). Good work anyway.

Sally, the white balance was manually set on bright green grass. The church is a very "white" sandstone originally. I'm having trouble keeping the structures a neutral color while swappping channels. If I use the level eyedroper and place the white eyedropper on greenery I seem to loose the blues. If you look at the speia colored structure on a previous IR entry you can see a little better what I mean. On that photo "Halloween" when I swapped channels the bldg. became very blue. I'm not sure how to "mask" an object. I have an Art Opening Dec. 9th, 10th, and 11th and would like to use some IR exhibits. Thanks for your help and I can also be reached at pelsass@woh.rr.com.

You could mask the building before swapping the channels over.
Or try setting a different white balance.
What colour is it normally? It looks like a model church in IR!
