The part of the sky you cannot see was not so dramatic, hence my choice of water, rock and motion as the subject.

I like the shades in this photo and the long exposure is perfect. However, I wish I could see more of the sky because the little I can see looks dramatic. The water alone is not quite enough to make it look effective in my opinion.

A unique and unusual view of this famous architecture, Robert! Very well done to show this in a refreshing way, and your b/w tones and the added human interest is excellent.

thanks Gary, funny that these cars used to pick up the kids from school and now are used as a car to get taken to church in.

They don't make 'em like that anymore. Reminds me of my teen years lairing around Adelaide in someone's mum's car! Like the vignetting and the muted red.

Hi Robert,
Looks like one of the first cars I learned to drive in. My dad owned a 1960 Ford Falcon Wagon. Not sure if they are branded the same in Australia.
Brings back some memories for me.:)

Fantastic, great ballance between the wood ''path'' and the bird into your frame, great blue tones and also mood into the image! STUNNING small focal area at the foreground, really that is 'all the money' here! Excellent of caurse!

thanks AJ. Yes the posts are a pain, not sure my Photoshhop skills take me that far.
As for sharpening I have been told it is a little over sharpened but there is no sharpening applied and I also turned off the UF sharpening on upload. The print just scream detail and it has all come across in the downres as well. Maybe I coudl turn teh contrast down a touch.
