The black kitty looks well suited to the scene, though he looks a bit forlorn and perhaps hungry. Nice black and white subject!

I have to wonder if nature intended us to be so muscle bound. Certainly a very good b & w portrait. Someone should tell him that all that body building will do him no good while he continues to smoke! :)

You have a good eye for seeing patterns in objects the way children see visions in the clouds. this makes a beautiful abstract.

Having never been out west this image is really fascinating as well as beautiful for me. I love the tones you used and how the huge stone formations appear like something from a Greed or Roman movie scene. Truly an inspiring place to be and certainly one where you would feel connected to a "higher power."

I cannot imagine living in that climate, though I know out west we have it very hot and dry too, some places are up to 118 degrees now, that's Fahrenheit, not celsius. I am so sorry to hear of the power problems and government corruption...seems to be worldwide doesn't it? Instead of progress they want people living in the stone age. I hope your people can turn this around in time.

Old graveyards are so inspiring both for photography and history. If only they could return to tell us of their experiences. There are many very old family plots here in New England on private land, some going back to the Revolutionary and Civil wars. Nice that you have an interest in these forgotten heroes.
