Very subtly done.

That looks like something out of Salavdor Dali's nightmares...

Incredible. The details, the facial expression, the textures, the tones...everything.

The lighting from below really creates a surreal effect.

I like the perspective a lot. The levels and contrast could use a little tinkering (at least that's what I'd tinker with first if I was photoshopping this one)

I like how you freezed the action.

I know how hard it is to photograph birds in motion without blurring them a lot...what was your shutter speed? I'd have to guess 1/500s or faster.

Great composition. "Cutting off" part of the woman's head helps the viewer see the picture from a child's perspective.

Great composition, fantastic detail, and excellent use of depth of field. This could very well be a page out of National Geographic or a wildlife magazine.

The light dusty colors make the picture feel like it's taken on a hot, sunny afternoon...

Overall a nice capture, but it might have been improved if it were taken at a slightly different angle, so the spider itself could be completely over a dark background, so the delicate patterns of its web are more visible

The subdued, light, colors make the photograph feel like morning...

It's particularly dramatic how you can see clearly (without mist) at the very bottom of the frame.

Great effect. Is that solarized, or something else?

A superbly well-timed capture.

Pound for pound, house cats are some of the most fearsome creatures out there. I hope that dog knew what it was getting into...

I love it! The geometric patterns (of the single-use cameras on the rack below him) and bright colors combine for an almost surrealistic effect. But the real capstone of this photo is the facial expression. Very nicely done picture of a subject that most photographers would ignore completely...

Great perspective...it makes the dog look simply huge.

If only I could look that relaxed while lying on rocks...

Good shot. I like the lines of the hill and the road. This would be great as a black and white...

I'm not sure what the system is for counting "views". What technically counts as a "view"? Every time someone's computer downloads the image? Every time somebody clicks on something? I don't know.

Anyway, my low number of 'views' may be because I only posted it a little while ago. I'm glad you like it. My sister is definitely the least camera-shy of the family.

Great portrait. The uniform red really grabs the eye, and the clothes that nearly match the background emphasize her face

Great tones. The composition is a little weird (most photographers would have placed the couple more towards the middle of the photograph) but I like it. It adds to the spontaneous feel of the photograph. You really managed to capture a great moment in this one.

Surreal! Great use of light and shadow. As a side note, in your picture information it says you used B&W negative film, while this is clearly a color photograph...

The lighting and compostion of this photo are great, but the amount of digital noise and blurring really kill this photo.

Great composition. The style of the building and the stone street immediately told me the photo was from europe...cities don't look like that in America.
