Thank you Marcus - I appreciate your commentary. It matters to me that you took the trouble to make such thoughtful comments. Now it's the weekend, I can take time to look and comment on my friends' portfolios, including yours :)
Regards,
Anthony

You strongly define who you are here, Avi - both in your picture and comments. No wonder your eye is so keen.
I shall follow your project with affection and respect for MJ. I have no doubt that in your hands, it will be fitting.

Brilliant Supriyo! This is a memorable image indeed, and one I'd be extremely proud of, had I been the photographer. Into my favourites; such stupendous impact is your composition.
Congratulations.

Thanks you Marcio. Alas, I have been so busy at work I haven't had a chance to return your and others' interest. I have set aside the weekend to catch up!
Take care,

Absolutely wonderful Khrisnendu, in every possible way. Another favourite from the "School of Kris" haha!
However, I'm serious.

:) regarding Dali, it's why I left that light bulb in; well-spotted!
Thank you Don - despite appearances, all I did some modest unsharp, contrast and pushed saturation to realise my idea of this surreal impression.
Warm regards,

Ah, I see Luis. Well, this is Mexico! Strong light and bold colours! It defines this country in a big way. Were this an English country lane, I'd certainly agree with your feelings!

Thank you.

In this picture, I wanted to keep the focus on the men, whilst allowing a hint of the interior.

Appealing, moody image with good light and subtle colours. As to the background, I'm not quite convinced - especially with that rather odd-looking tree. However, Luis has quite clearly declared his work here as Photoart, so I'm very happy with this very nice work.
Many congratulations Luis!

Well, I found it. Wasn't the Prado but the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, (also in Madrid). And it wasn't Renaissance art but Baroque.

Yes! You are right Don! I am looking desperately for the Renaissance painter who painted a peeled lemon, among the greater part of his still-life masterpiece. I saw it in the Prado, Madrid - and it made a powerful impression.
