Well to me it was as much for the yellowstone experience as anything. I could have attempted the "Ideal" shot along with the other 50, but no, this was yellowstone too!

The picture of the the insect is incedible, I would love to see more of his background to get that since of contrast. The big and small.

I came to be in 1975 :)

I was in the Canadian navy for almost 4 years, the few aerial shots I have are from the open door of a 40 year old Sea King helicopter.

I like aviational images, or any image that isn't conventional.

Canada is bless with raw nature.

Europe is in my mind different but in many ways far prettier with many more things to see and do.

I lived for a year in northern Italy and architecture and accessibility to every location make for a photographer's dream.

Within an hour by train I could be in Turino, Milano, Lago di Como, Lago di Orta, Bergamo, Parma and many many other places.

So many places to photograph so little time.

Geoff,

Just looked at your Bio pic and guess you weren't definitely around in the '60s!

Sorry if I aged you prematurely there!

Geoff,

Thanks for your comment on my photo "the next ones".

I had to come and look at your portfolio because I spent many school years with a friend who's name was Geoff Ball! You didn't happen to live in Poole, Dorset England in the '60s and '70s by any chance?

I thoroughly loved my holiday in Canada this year and think you are so lucky to have scenery like this to capture.

This one is excelently done.

I guess you have aviation connections as well. Will be spending some time looking at the rest of your portfolio. Hope you enjoyed some of my flying pics!

This and the previous shot are excellent. It's a great display of the symmetry in wildlife and nature. Great eye to see and capture this. Congrats, best regards.

Ah, but it is so different and special, this Peggy's Cove of yours - what a pity it has such a horrific association to it, the aeroplane crash - lovely image and beautiful composition - thanks for the extra info - what would those colourful objects be, on the deck above the small boat? Regards
Lydia
