The colors are fantastic in all of your zoo shots.
The image looks so true to life with the colors, ripples in the water and the sunlight.
I hope you got some images of the lion. I can only image how great fantastic those must look after your zoo preview. Show me the lion!

I'm so jealous. The tigers were so lazy they didn't even move the day I went to the zoo.
Perfect weather and looks like you had some great natural light (sunshine).
I like how you have the tiger moving and his paw in motion. What a great vantage point you have.

I checked Usefilm last night specially to see if you had posted any new images from the zoo.
The Himalayan Ibex was difficult to photograph, but here you have captured the Ibex perfectly and in what is a beautiful foreground and background. The Ibex appears to be in its natural surroundings and not at a zoo.
Excellent sharp focus and great colors.

I too find the stick in the foreground to be a leading point into the image and the tree.
I don't know what an HDR image is, but the image looks superb.
Congratulations on the Photo of the Day, but I feel that this is well deserving of even greater rewards.

The "Alone" category is so perfect for this image. Love the silhouette of the photographer with his camera and tripod. The orange filter with the grassiness of the field is beautiful.

Great joyful expression on the groom's face. I'm not so sure about the bride's though.
Nice soft focus and great window light.

If I ever had a spider like that in my hand I'd want someone to take a photo too. No one would ever believe I did it. YUCK!
Looks great in B & W and the details and coloring on the spider.

Interesting colors. I really like the dried brush against the green (beautiful shades). The clouds and the mist over the hillside is very moody. I like the burst of blue sky at the top.

Looks like you put a lot of work into this one.
Beautiful collage of all the flower images. I like how you stuck with the yellows and reddish tones - not mixing it up to much.
Great idea and I'd have to say that this is one creative flower image.
7+!

I'm jealous! I was going to take a drive along the coast myself, but figured the weather wasn't that great for picture taking. Was I wrong!
Love the sky and the sephia tones is perfect.
We're so fortunate to live along one of the most beautiful coastlines.

Thanks! There is actually a photo class (2 days), but at $249 I think I am going to pass and just try it on my own. I'm supposed to go out with this girl that I know that is getting into digital photography. I don't think I will be able to wait for her. Kind of want to get out there now - so if there is good weather on the weekend I just might go on my own.
By the way - which 70 - 200 lens did you use? Was it the F4 or F2.8?

WOW! The focus is superb and wonderful use of DOF.
I'm supposed to be going with a friend to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands area in Huntington Beach, CA sometime soon to shoot the wildlife in the area. This is a great image and I hope inspiring to me to do half as well as you did with this image.
I too have a 70 - 200 L lens (F4). Which one did you use here? Any tips would be appreciated.
7+!
