I think its really just down to over fishing but still plenty other fish just the herring that have gone.

Strange I have gone the other way with this shot

To be honest I didnt do a lot in photoshop
I already took the image on a very long exposure and used A ND grad to keep detail in the sky.
The thing to do in photoshop was just to take out all the clarity in RAW then selectivley bring it in to certain areas.
Was a great workshop its just finding the right subject to use it on

Love the light danny and the grass in the foreground adds something extra to the comp.
That sky speaks for its self, great image in so many ways.

The difference is we get a couple of inches and everything stops but it makes the photos look nice
