Hi Criscali,

From what little I remember of this shoot, I believe that there was some fill flash used, but nothing overpowering.

And thanks everyone for your comments.

An excellent shot MS. I love it. Great color in the background. The whisk looks great too. Perhaps a followup with batter all over it? ;-)

Heh... heh... she said curvilinear. ;-)

This definitely prods buttocks. Great shot Alisa. I like very much. Get me motivated please! :-)

Needs a camera geek smoking near the trashcan though. ;-)

Dig it man. I like the tilted lines, the cut off head, everything... Tones are awesome, focus is spot on. She looks like a caged tiger... Just let that hair down. ;-)

Hey man, let me know when you may go again. I need to get back in the swing of photography. Looks REALLY good here John. Excellent control of the light. What time was this?

Hi Kim, thanks for your recent comments.

I like all of these. All are excellent shots... I think, if you haven't already decided, that I might swap bottom left and top left. To me that would maybe be a bit more symmetrical. And would convey morning shots to evening shots, regardless of when each shot was really taken... Just my 2 cents. :-)

Love each shot, regardless!

Roberto, I like this very much. Subjects in 3's are always pleasant to look at. Unfortunately, you have oversharpened here. There is a lot of white fringing around the edges of things. The chains and the reeds (I think that's what they are) especially. While that can always be fixed, or reapplied, it is slightly distracting here. But the exposure and composition look spot on. Great job!

OK, this is awesome! Except for one thing... I think you have a shadow of your lens on the flower. It really would be PERFECT if the whole flower was in light, or shadow. Otherwise I love it. And really, I love it anyway. :-)

You would look a little knock kneed too, if Petros was looking at your ass. :-)

And Petros? You know that's my portrait of YOU! :-)

YUMMY colours Chels. (Notice how I spelled that?) I like this very much. Like the way the tree goes through the frame, too.

I like very much what you have done here, but his background is distracting. If you have an opportunity to shoot him again, my suggestions would be as follows:

Move around to try to get more of him and less of anything else in the frame. Maybe even crop off some of him in the frame to just head and shoulders.

I think your camera gives you the ability to change the aperture a bit, if so, shoot with a wider aperture. try a few shots with the smallest number you can get to and then slowly make it larger: f2.8, f4, f8, etc...

You nailed it with sharpness and color, I wouldn't change those at all!

This is awesome Roy. How long was the exposure? 30? or more? Would love to see a print of this. Where'd you shoot it?

Brian, I really like the idea here. However, the photos look soft and in harsh light. Get this girl into some shade and try again. If you were going for a sort of High Key look, then I apologize. :-)

The way she moves from sort of dark looking to lightness is great. Really a wonderful way of showing both a devilish and angelic side. (for lack of better terms)

There's something so soft and warm about this photo. The placement of the tree is spot on, the golden waves of grass with lines throughout look stark but pleasing. The clouds add texture to an already tactile looking ground. Just fantastic!

Since no one else is saying it, I will. You suck John! :-)

This is so beautiful man. Next time I am coming with you. Although I suppose I gotta get a Leica first? :-) I really like that the trees seem to have a glow coming from behind them. Very spiritual.
