indeed, there is envy here. Great shot. Beautiful composition and great first entry. a little comment. I find the colors a bit to bright. I feel they are tempered with a bit to much.
Kind regards,
martijn

the high contrast between the black and the white on the rocks in the foreground is amazingly beautiful. It's like they come alive. And than you see the rest of the breathtaking scene. whith the smooth and softness of the water equaling the smooth and softness of the sky. It's maybe even more beautiful than a perfect reflection in a still lake. Well done. great work.

martijn

great sillhouette against a great backdrop. The fact the backdrop is tilted over gives it a strange feeling over you. A beautiful surrealness where you at first don't know where it comes from. Like a dark troubled spiderman, the silhouette gives a great emotional charge to this artwork. I think the photo is gritty enough and could possibly do without the overlaying pattern. Just to give it a bit more of a reality edge. But that's just my opinion on a great idea. Well done.

It's a verry surreal photo. Very bright colors and offcourse the fact you see the rainbow hit the ground at both ends. Just two little comments. I have the idea the horizon is just a bit off to the right. And I don't like the namestroke at the bottom. It ruines the great two/third rule you created between sky and ground. Otherwise great capture, it must have been beautiful to see. which you emphasized on by having the car with people by it watching the phenomenon.
Kind Regards,
Martijn

amazing how you captured such sharpness from a moving animal. I like how you emphasized it by making the background look more like an unsharp dustcloud. Well done.

beautiful colors. I like the yellow against the black background. I can see you have a love for black in your photo's. You bring the black in beautiful contrast with the light. Keeping both really clean and sharp. beautiful

Indeed, this shot of these beautiful eyes makes you think of that line. I love how the whole photo is in the tone of her eyes. It brings a great feel to it all. the angle is perfect, you feel being pulled down into the whirlpool of her eyes. Did you crop off a part of the chin and forehead to emphasize that feeling? If you did, than even more admoration. Kind regards, Martijn

great shot. Verry funny. I love that it's in black and white. It brings the emphasis on what's happening instead of it's surroundings. Verry sharp picture too. Well done.

simple beauty. Such a great idea to have everything in bluetones. The silhouettes seem to blend in perfectly with its background this way, while still be verry present in the foreground. great work. Kind regards, Martijn

great composition and lighting. The posture of the man gives the whole image it's adventures feel. The way he's walking and looking. I like how you used the ceiling with its wooden panels to create the depth in the photo. Well done. Kind regards, Martijn

beautiful silhouette with the horse and the tree opposite the sun at the other side. The only point I have is that the right corner. You can see you've worked on the photo and now the corner doesn't naturally go with the rest of the photo. Kind Regards, martijn

beautiful set-up. With the girl looking into the camera you've created an atmoshpere of detachment from everything. the clear blue of the table with the white of the milk as a purity against the clearly distortioned blue of the background. I love how the skirt is going over the table with her hands over it. It looks like she is trying to hold onto the purity of life while the real distorted world around her is all present. Great work. Beautiful. Kind Regard, Martijn

Hey, it's a very interesting composition. The sky is amazing. But overall it's to much. You have put just a bit to much contrast to it all. The canon eas 350D Already has a bit off trouble for having a bit grainy feel. Which you now have made worse here. Maybe you could bring a bit more softness by taking some grain out. It will get a bit more poetic feel to it, which is I think you wanted. Kind regards, martijn

love the treatment on the edges of the photo. But I think it would work better if you would have the photo in more sepia tones. The bird makes the composition. Great capture. Kind regards, martijn

I don't think you need more contrast. This shot is in great black and white. It gives the right amount of feeling of surrealism which I think would be ruined by more contrast. I do agree that it would be a good idea to cut a bit on the right to loose the little bit of treetrunk on the bottom right. Otherwise, great shot. Kind Regards, Martijn

Wow, I am amazed how much depth you created with this shot. The lighter looks more than a foot long in this shot. Thanks for showing the power of DOF.

Very powerful emotional shot. you can feel the turmoil of someone's pain watching this. Half the picture's strongness, half the perfect title you picked for it. A picture says more than a thousand words. In your case a picture with two words says more than a million. Well done. Kind Regards, Martijn

beautiful silhouette against a great backdrop of sky. And It's a good choice to have the horseman on the left of the photo. I do think it is better to crop of the black line on top and the little top of tree on the right (then immediatly the top of the streetlight would be less visible) I think these changes would bring the silhouette against sky, out better. well done, Kind Regards, Martijn

great composition. I like the fact you put these two photographs together. It gives you the feeling you're watching a set off wings. Which go well with this romantic setting. The tone and coloring are well chosen as well. Well done.Kind Regards, Martijn

I love how this shot is build up horizontally going from light to dark to light to dark to ligh again. With the mist between the 'teeth' making the great transfer from the harsh tones at the bottom the the soft tones on top. A perfect shot Lee, congrats
