Joe, Washington DC is real paradise for photographer. All poissible subjects from people on streets, famous memorials to the Potomac river at sunrise. I hope you liked DC.

This type of image could be better if taken diuring perfect calm evening or morning, and at place where Washington monument will not be covered so much by trees.

Good exposure. It does stand out.

Good architectural shot. I really like sense of size of this building because of people in frame. Great choice of B&W. I like angle. Nice and interesting.

Jeroen,
I REALLY like composition in color here. Striking yellow with cooling blue. Flowers doesn't look sharp on my monitor, and I see vigneting or darker corners for some reason. But it's image which made me stop and look in delight.

Beautiful colors and great detail. I can imagine you laying on the back to get this shot.
Teunis, small insect on flower or bird in far sky could be as icing to the cake here.

I'm in critics today...

Dan, I like same type of photography, so I'll give you advice not to include unnecessary areas into photo. With your zoom lens I would zoom into to include area starting under advertisment to exclude this strange bridge like thing, and "crop" sligtly from above also.

Also faster prime wide angle lenses could be really helpful for night photography. You will get better datail and color. And take filter from your lens if you used it during daytime.

Nice long time exposure shot.

Better then other ones compositioanally, but still not perfect.
Focus is not perfect, DOF is not blured enough.
Nice colors.
