This image is so real I want to reach out at pat her. (I'm assuming this is a female as I have yet to see a tortoise shell male). Detail is magnificent. The background colour is very complimentary. Cathy

Bill - your animal photos are superb and this is another fine example. Of course it doesn't hurt to have a subject like Marbles, a true feline beauty. Unusual coloration and not sure it is a mystery mix or exemplary of a specific breed.

Great image. I love the DOF and the color of this insect. Sorry that I can't help you identify that thing, but being a bug-phobe, I probably wouldn't like to have it near me!
I also like the detail and lighting of the leaf on which the bug sits.
