Dani, I spent the day at this place and asked myself the same question over and over. This fine aircraft, and many, many more were just being consumed by the vegetation and some were completely gone except perhaps and antenna or a wingtip showing. I spent many years as a pilot and worked on aircraft so this brought a tear to see these old birds just fading away. The gentleman that owns them said the cost to recover them (make airworthy) would be prohibitive and most are so ate up with corrosion I believe he's right. It was almost like walking thru a graveyard, so sad to know what had been at one time. Dwight

Thank you, Dani. I certainly didn't want to give you the heebie jeebies (I'm laughing so hard right now as I didn't realize the term heebie jeebies was used anywhere else but here) at all. I will do a search of the Internet for the spiders you mentioned, as they sound very interesting. You be safe when out shooting with them dangerous Arachnids! ;-) Dwight

Oh its giving me the heebie jeebies. 1.25" you say? At least he's not like our 3" long huntsmans in Oz! (or our Red Backs and White Tails that are teeny tiny killers. Australia is a big spider country lol)
Great clarity and DOF :)

Thanks Keith. These two are my kids! I was never a big fan of on camera flash but I have to admit the SB800's with the TTL mode and the D200 does a much betterjob for me than the D100 with SB80. Regards, Dwight

Dwight. You are very lucky to have a model daughter. Nice detail and colour tones. Try pulling the left hand top corner in and down a bit to make a tighter crop. Leave the space in front of Jessca. Just my opinion. Hope you dont mind. Cheers Keith

Thanks Kieth for the comment. I know what you mean by the shirt not looking right, but think this may be because the shirt was a off white color. Also, he didn't wear a under shirt which may have compounded the the problem with the tone. Perhaps some work with layers in CS2 may improve the appearance. Thank you! Regards, Dwight

Thanks for the comment Keith. You are correct about the flash. Should of been 1/3 to 1/2 ev less and I think that would of nailed it. This was a snap that I took on the fly and of course after the event it's hard to go back and reshoot. I have Nikon Capture NX now and may just rerun this in NX as it handles the raw files it seems better than CS2. Thanks again! Regards, Dwight
