Thanks Jude. It's funny that when I go through my old photo archives, suddenly I find a shot that was overlooked. This is one such shot and I'm glad it is popular. The black line at the bottom is real - it is a vast plateau of lava flows.
The scenery is so awesomely hostile, sometimes the only place to look is up. Here is a pic of the area to show what I mean! Nick
