Great capture, I think it is rather like the male [human] bringing home flowers because he is in trouble. Presenting the flowers [fish] before entering LOL I love this

Thanks Peter. I used a Bogen tripod (they're almost heavy enough to need a second person to lug it around). The new adapter for the D-70 is on order and I'm really excited about the possibilities using digital over 35mm.

Interesting phototechnique. Certainly not bad for the first photo. I am told that the art of digiscoping is to use the highest possible shutterspeed and a very good and very heavy tripod to prevent camerashake. Well done and send us some more!!!

Thank you Margaret. They are a very powerful bird both in symbol and physically. I've rescued about a dozen or so and although they weigh only about 12 pounds or so they can give you a workout keeping away from the beak and talons.
