Kathy, I love the rail tracks better than the peaks! See how it takes the eyes smoothly out of the frame. OK, so the Sisters are just the topping on the pudding, the real treat!

I love this beauty scene, great landscape with fantastic
perspective. Love the pattern of tracks, really nice peaks on the backround! Wonderful bluish colours, nice
gradation of sky. Great natural composition with many
nice details. Very well captured & seen!
Well done dear Kathy! :)

Have a nice day!

Beautiful colours and stunning details to this wonderful composition Kathy. I can appreciate this being Mr.H's favourite as I feel that way too. I particularly love the details and textures in the track and immediate surrounds. Just fabulous...Very best wishes to you....Ray

Kathie, such a crisp image with the snow peaks accent! Your series reminds me of Japanese prints and photos glorifying the "many faces of Mt. Fuji." I believe, you could get to at least 100.

It's my favorite too, Kathy. The rails lead very nicely to the mountains and the framing of the trees is lovely.

Oh yes I can see why it's his favourite. It shows more of the Twin Sisters and also there is a lovely lead in with the train tracks as well as a beautiful curve around the bend to give it a nice flow. Very nice shot Kathy. This entire series has been a pleasure to view. I love snow capped mountains.

Cheers - Ann :)

If that isn't beautiful, I don't know what is, Kathy. I knew there had to be a reason why we lived here.

This is my favorite of the three Kathy...the addition of the tracks puts this one at the top for me. Fantastic composition, wonderful range of color...from the browns in the foreground to the clear, crisp blues of the background. Great detail all around...very, very nice!
Congrats on your "blueberries" being on the front page!

I like this one the best of your mini-series, Kathy, because of the railroad - The way it curves it leads my eye upwards towards the mountain. The detail on the tracks is fantastic, and the trees on both sides add nice textures and shades of green and rust. Wonderful view of both "Twin Sisters" - great perspective, and majestic mountain! And I'm sure there is a barn somewhere, right around the corner :) Well done, Kathy! Best regards, Ina

Is that green grass I see??
Beautiful composition and clarity, Kathy. I see Susie has you making mountain calendars and some others previous suggested barns....I believe you could do it :) You'd be rich!!

A beautiful photo.Great light and the angle of view is perfect. You might consider cropping to just above the trees on the left, it makes the mountians look bigger. Very nice detail. Don.

Great shot Sissy. This has been a really good little series. Maybe you should do a calendar of mountain shots? You really should print some of these out ya know.
This is my favorite too. The tracks are great to lead the eye and the photo is sharp front to back. Nice one (again)! And good spotting for Denny...

I just love railroad shots. There is somthing very soothing and calm about them. I really like the different textures of the trees on either side of the tracks. The eye just wonders right up into the mountian. Very serene and beautiful

Another fantastic rail shot, Kathy! The mountains are spectacular, of course, but there is a simple clarity to the rails and road bed that keeps bringing my eyes back to them. The curve of the rails toward the mountains is a nice pointer to your central subject... But there's something I especially like about the rails in this shot, similar to your rail shot "Following the River". Yet I like this one even more. This scene would also have looked nice shot vertically with the tall tree to the right along the right edge of the shot. Yet this is no critisism. It's a fine shot exactly as it is. Congrats!!

Best regards,
Mark

WONDERFUL! The tracks are a perfect lead to the background, you are so lucky to have mountains within driving distance! The closest mountains to my home are in extreme West Texas, over 800+ miles from me!

Great perspective here, Kathy, and the rail line leads the eye right to the peaks! Good composition.
