I love this one Robin. Sort of thing I always like to try. Excellent bokeh and the patterns in the old bloom are just beautiful.

Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique A wonderful title my dear Robin and fits the subject like a glove. There is still beauty left in these remains and the thoughts that it can't be long before we see it's decendants. Well spotted and taken....Best wishes to you as always.....Ray

Thanks for the comment and the bit of work to this one Kathy. It doesn't bother me if you fiddle around with something I've posted...it helps me see things through someone else's eyes and there's nothing wrong with that! I did think about getting rid of the dark area but...I didn't (big shrug). I do like your version too...thanks for taking the time to tinker. :)

Love the title Robin! It really caught my attention and brought a smile to my face. I love how you see beauty in these everyday things...

I like this shot, Robin, and the tones are really nice. I was wondering what it would look like without the dark part in the top portion. I hope you don't mind, but I took it into PS and cropped it differently. This is just another possibility. What do you think?

A very apt title Robin. I imagine it would have been a lovely in its blooming days but you've still given it a great quality as you've immortalised it. Great DOF and razor sharp. Lovely earthy tones too.

Cheers from Ann :)
