Ahhhhhhhh....His Masters Voice (HMV). I remember listening to my dads records when I was a girl and seeing the icon of the dog looking into the cone shaped speaker.

Sorry Larry. Here is the info that you wanted.
Aperture - 6.3 Shutter - 1/640 ISO - 500 Focal Length - 500mm
So almost the opposite of what you were suspecting.

Thankyou Laura. This is basically straight from the camera. By using a long focal distance and large aperture it makes the subject stayed focused.

Larry Hammond {K:16150} 3/23/2006 Hi Judi, let me guess, a low ISO, very fast shutter with a large aperature....right??
If you please, your stats are to achieve this seperation from background??
I like it a lot, neat!! Larry 2nd Request?? HeHeHe

I think they go there to do their 'major' shop sometimes. My brother owns the Ray White Rural agency in Blackall. He moved his family there a few years ago - he loves it there. He is also a licenced auctioneer - does a lot of the cattle auctions there.
Cheers

What a top class image! Judy, this is just so typically Australian! Just wonderful!
I'll send the link of this one to my brother in Central Queensland. He'll love this image - just his type of image!
Are you anywhere near Blackall?

Very good candid photo of the man and his dog. The limited DOF allows the subjects to pop out of the frame. Colors and lighting are good.
