Fabulous idea to take this and it came out great Judi. I usually make a last visit to the internet around that time to make sure there are no auroras due. I have slept through too many recently !!

Beautiful capture, Judi. We've also noticed the full moon has been quite bright the last few nights - enough to cast shadows at midnight. Poor Sony, it was probably sleeping peacefully...

Spooky....I just came home from the City and we have exactly the same moon today! I saw nearly exactly the same thing but didnt have my camera on me. I ll keep this one for memory :)
