wow very nice capture of the geese in flight, the clairity and nice background are pleasing, I am a bit on the fence with the crop, as i do find it appealing but wonder what a slightly tigher one would look like, either way i think its a reall beauty..

Hi Darlene,
I agree with some of the things that Rob says in his comment. However, I think that the fact that one goose over-laps the other makes it a candidate for a closer crop. The detail is great in the two birds, so you probably could afford to go a little bigger with them with a bit less negative space. Just a different version that might work too.

This is pure magic to me! you have the Geese in the upper & left third, can see the horizon line and you give a great sense of the height by leaving the lower portion in the frame; I love this...I knew it was yours as soon as I saw it and will be bewildered if it doesn't win some type of award. Regardless though...the shot is magnificent! :)
