thanks for yor comment mate i love taking my storm photos but its been the same here this sesion we have not even had one good one this year and your right i think it would be better with less noise

Great shot. I like the foreground and the fact that the bolt seems to be emerging from the cloud.

I've been trying to catch some good lightning but all of my digital shots come out with too much noise. I was planning to try some with my film SLR instead to lessen the noise. Unfortunately we get about one good storm per year here!

I would be interested to see what your's would have looked like without the noise.
