A very beautiful red rose with a good background and well composed . If you had used a reflector ie: crumpled aluminium foil attached to a tray or somesuch to throw a bit more light onto the petals it would have been superb ... kind regards Mavis .

Beautiful, I love the vibrant and rich red, and I think the minimal DOF adds to the strenght of the rose itself. The flower is composed wonderfully, excellent shot!

Beautiful rose! It looks almost like velvet. The center is a bit dark, but it is still a lovely shot. :)

As I write, the flower has a nice exposure because of the very deep red colour... the lighting looks very nice for so soft but it can be better and not so flat. Good tight cropping. Thanks for your critique and welcome here!

Beautiful lighting and detail here, but the background to the right is a little distracting...

An unusual shot. Your use of soft lighting has resulted in a thumbnail so dark that I almost passed by without viewing your photo, and that would be my loss as the overall effect is very good.
