About Taken on a cloudy day, and this guy wasn't shy about coming to find what foods I had for him. He got within 5 feet of me.

Stephen thank you for such a well thought out comment. This guy was actually waiting for me to throw him some more food. He had already ate what I gave him, and I really think he was getting impatient with all the picture taking between bites. As it says in the about segment, this was taken on a cloudy day, no sun in sight, but believe it or not that is the actual color of the grass in this place so getting proper lighting for it is a bit difficult. I would have loved to have gotten his feet in the photo as well, but he was so close that even using the wide angle on-board the camera I couldn't get far enough away.

Very nice photo Heidi, I like it. I love the way the goose is staring at the camera, it almost looks as if it's posing for you! I'd be interested to see what this photo would look like with the whole duck (including feet) in shot, I'm not sure if it would be better or not? The grass looks very bright in the background (in direct sunlight?), so maybe it might be better if the photo was taken in cloudy weather and less harsh lighting? But very nice photo, good work!

c'ho capito poco nei vostri discorsi...vorrei solo dire che la foto mi piace. davvero bello il piumaggio che degrada... bella foto.

Ugh! Oh well, maybe we could stitch them together in a collaborative effort :) I figured you would get more attention if there were less geese on the page, thanks for taking it so well! I'll try again tonight if the system lets me or tomorrow sometime.

Awwww Tim I wish you would have left it, I thought it was a gas having Father Goose and Mother Goose appear at the same time.

Hey, I removed mine because I felt it might be poor timing/manners for me to do that. I should have looked to see what was posted first. I'll add it later, sorry about that.

Funny, I just posted mother goose ;) Nice job with the exposure and keeping detail in the eye!
