About This was taken in Florala, Alabama, USA. This little town is located at the intersection of Alabama Hwy 55 and Florida Hwy 85 at the border of these two states. It's a small little town that I fell in love with will driving through on my way to Montgomery, AL. I had to get out and take a picture. There is a filling station right next to me with all of the old vintage coca-cola, oil, and other logos. I thought this view of the main street was pretty cool. What do you think? Thanks.

Great black and white! That helps to take me back to the day! Nice shot!

Neat street capture - maybe a frame to delineate it -I wondered about cropping the sky also but probably not.

Thank you so much for your comment! I really like scenes like this one as well. I'll have a look at some of your photos soon!

it is fantastic, above all for the sense of desolation created by the human absence, sinned down there for those autos... otherwise it was a perfect city ghost...
compliments

This is a good street scene. I like the vertical composition, something that many contemporaries forget to make. Your choice of b+w is good. Bald skies seem to be much more tolerated in b+w than in color. Of course, a person or two always adds additional interest to an image such as this one.

Best of luck in your career. I am a pilot, too, of sailplanes and taildraggers and, these days, mostly bicycles.
