Dear Erik,
powerful abstract, well done capture. the black areas form great planes of their own, and the blue that's getting smaller to the bottom is a great dividing element. the BAR sign is just where it should be. you may think about a different cropping as the BAR is a bit too heave centered for me.
Take care, Thilo

Wow. Thanks Paul. I was with my wife I shot this. I spent about 20 minutes on this neon sign. She was working very hard to be patient with me. The credit goes to her patience.

The colors came directly from the camera with very little manipulation. I was surprised also. Thanks.

Thanks for the comment Jon. Wow. I hadn't thought of the funnel effect. You're right.

Very eye catching. I found that the blue sky in the background drew my eye down from the top, past the signs and out the bottom - like being spat out the bottom of a funnel. Great colours.

It's a strange effect indeed. It must be a combination of the amazing Tuscan sky colors and on e of the most unique neons i've seen so far. Loving your "America" series.

Amazing!
It looks so "digital" - you know what I mean? As if you "drew" this one in Paintshop or something.....
trippy!
