Diana, beautiful shot. It is so hard to have such a vast area in a picture without losing the impact of the beauty. This picture, while vast in space, has so many elements in it, it stays very interesting. Great job! Beautiful country.

Hi Diana,
I have to agree with Absher, there are many focal points within the picture much to its compliment. For example the group of cattle, if one looks long enought you'd swear they were moving. Your picture is very similar to one which I have taken locally to me, haven't uploaded it yet. A great shot Diana.

A very English-like landscape, Diana ~ very beautiful view!
The houses look to be a little different, but otherwise very similar to parts of the U.K.

Wish I was there. What a gorgeous country setting you have captured with this shot. On our trip to your country in 1970, we drove up from Germany and entered The Netherlands from the west on our way to Hillagom. On our return trip we left your lovely country from the south on our way to Brussels and Luxembourg. All these many years later, I still have a special fondness for The Netherlands.
Best wishes and many thanks for posting this picture. It brought back pleasant memories.

Very good composition with the path to the valley on the right corner below. Beautiful landscape also. I think the weather was sunny bot warm with a lot of moisture in the air. Am I right?

Hi Diana,
I do enjoy seeing this view of your beautiful countryside! You're right, I hear 'Holland' and I think of wooden shoes and tulips!! And windmills also!
This scene is absolutely gorgeous! I especially like the vast amount of land you included, and it's so GREEN! All the hills around me are brown because we did not had much rain last winter.
So much to see in this image, animals down on the hill...cows? Hard to tell.
Very nice work, I always enjoy seeing others' countrysides. So, thank you for this!!

There are plenty of things which are special about this one.
it has many focal points. by focal points, i mean the things which hook up your eyes for a moment.
then, it has a perspective effect on the lower left.
and ofcourse, your composition is good as one would expect from Diana! and nice colours too! and ya. youre lucky to be a hollandeer, i suppose.

Mooi dit landschap en dat je Nederland ook eens van een ander kant laat zien. Nederland is mooi dat heb ik deze vakantie in BRABANT (chaam) ook weer eens gezien. Het was voor mij een bevestiging om vakanties zoveel mogelijk in eigen land te vieren.
