Thanks Kel, Yeah - I take a spot reading from what I want exposed correctly and then bracket either side. In this instance the correct reading was the one which was 1 stop over what I metered. Thanks mate.

beautiful amanda... to get the silhouette effect all you need to do is set you white balance down a couple of clicks and focus the camera as much as you can on her belly closest to the window ( white spot) thats how i do mine anyway... seems to work everytime.. every know and then you may need to darken up a bit with curves in P.S....
