Now, I think I prefer this one. The boosted contrast and vivid colors along with the Gaussian blur really add to the magic I think. I'd like to see it in dreamy photo too! I bet that would be sweet. You need to take her back there in an actual fairy costume! That would be sooooo cute and magical! She'd love playing fairy in such a mystical place!

thanks Dottie, I love her innocence and wonder - too cute and wont last for long, that much I know for sure. I like it in colour - I did saturate it a little more too and am about to post a toned version which I also like - can't make up my mind in fact lol!

thanks again Tamara - I will try erasing a little more of the blur to leave Chloe more in focus - Happy New Year and thanks again.

Yes I will treasure this Pat as I'll remember her innocence! I plan on doing a story board as I have so many beautiful moments from todays 'faerie park' visit! Chloe is just hte perfect age for all that make believe stuff right now....we sat in that faerie ring and I told a made up magical story - she was all big round eyes and oohs and aaahs, moments to treasure for sure. Happy New Year to you.

Ah, I now see better what you did. And I think you're right - the gaussian blur really does work here!

Thanks Tamara - most of the softness is an action that I have applied, the only thing not quite in focus are the 2 fore toadstools (f8 was used). The action has a fair amount of gaussian blur which I selectively brush away. Thanks so much for your input and for stopping by :-)

This is very cute. Too bad the focus wasn't sharper, but you have a nice amount of light overlaying everything that it seems to override the lack of focus a bit and just embue the scene with a nice glow.
