many thanks for your comment... unfortunately, some people do not like animals because they do not know about...the problem is clear but solving is not simple.

Unfortunately people must be reminded of this type of evil insanity in order to feel uncomfortable and reinforce the "wrongness" of the act. Powerful images, well presented and well intentioned. (Who held the key to this lock Sam?) (Here in the Northeast US raccoons grow as big as some dogs, and will rip your hand off if you get THAT close!)If they're rabid you can die a slow/miserable death.......sweet revenge perhaps(?) Best regards -john

I have a hard time even looking at these images. I give to animal charities, but I have a hard time looking at the abuses of animals. Sometimes, I won't look at the pix they send me in the mail but will right a check.

A very sad and depressing picture indeed. How low can people get to treat an animal this way. I do hope you did talk to the people who caught this poor animal and managed to free the racoon again. Keep up the good work of protecting wildlife and our environment. From one who loves wildlife and photography. Best regards, Gustav
