Love the warm orange sky! The cropped version would have been really nice had you not shown the original! :) I like the original, maybe a tad off of the bottom, but that is it! This image has a nice glow to it and the vignetting like Dirck mentioned does add a little something more to this image. A wonderful composition IMO. :)

Portrays very warm emotion! Balsamic..
Technicaly one could suggest to crop some on the left.
No way!
This is one of the few when general rule of thumb doesn't rule!

Thanks Dirck. It's always great to hear another opinion... I agree about losing the gradiation in the sky for the photo-club crop... It's also good to know you like the vingetting in the corners... that was something that I didn't care for and was happy to crop out, but upon taking a second look it does help to keep my eyes grounded in the image. Thanks again!

Kim, this is a sumptuous photo, but I can't say I completely agree with your photo club because that severe crop loses too much of the wonderful range of shades in the sky! The bottom does feel a little heavy, but I love the vignetting in the upper corners, and I think they make the image feel more 'intimate' (if that makes any sense! :) How about something in between?
