About I attended the Opening Hunt yesterday from the local Fox Hunt Club. (Yes, this is a Nebraska club) A really great time. There were 28 riders and 21 hounds (not dogs) that participated. I followed them in a car catching a shot whenever our paths crossed.

In this scene, the Huntress, who was born and raised in Ireland, has the hounds ready for the hunt. It was amazing how these 21 animals responded to her every command. Unfortunately, I had this drab sky to work with, but I just take what I can get.

More of this series to come. Thanks for stopping by.

I don't know but I think this light is very good for this picture. You might have had a lot of harsh shadows had it been sunny. Bet this was quite a site. Don.

Great composition Mark... Love the red uniforms in contrast with the autumn colors... Great details... You reminded me of the play Mame.... :)

Cheers,

Wonderful color, Mark. The red coats really pop and the fall leaves in the background are colorful in spite of the flat lighting. Good composition! Very well done!

Very nice shot of the group, Mark! I like the fall foliage in the background, too, it really adds to the image.
