Thanks for the comment, Sebastian. I would love to tell you I just took a shot to two, but the truth is I took about 200 that night. I have about a dozen or so that I like out of the bunch. Fireworks is an inexact science. I just shoot and hope that I'm lucky!!

Beautiful capture and composition Mark - the offcentre placement of the fire work is excellent, being in exactly the right spot for the eye to search for. Great tones of red in the firework explosion too. Excellent image!
