Ian, great title! I tried a similar shot in New Zealand last month, but this is much better! Excellent colours, and although so simple there is so much to see!

I love the simplicity of this. Great colors and the random placement of the larger stones in comparison to the tiny pepples "choking" the seam between the two pieces. The lighting has to be a factor in this as well as your adept skill at noticing a great image.
