About	The little lochan just off the road past Drumrunie some 15 miles north of Ullapool. It is a wonderful spot to view the mountains of the Inverpolly reserve often in perfect reflection. On this occasion fresh snow had fallen and turned the water to the consistency of a peaty brown/grey slush puppy. I was able to utilise the foreground fork of a dead tree and the anarchic splash of colour from a rhodedendron bush to lift it from monochrome. The faintest of rosy glows above the mountains as the day came to an end lifted it still further. Please visit www.transientlight.co.uk
