Very good lighting and composition, but the star trails could be emproved. I'd like to try some shots like this, but it's way too cold here now to go out at night for a very long exposure.

Balaji the tech is very simple. First get a clear sky with lots of stars. Then set up a good heavy tripod and mount your slr. Setup BULB setting in the shutter speed menu and apertuers like f8 or f11. Then keep your shutter open for 5-10 minutes exposure. If my shot would have been a 15 min une , the trail would have been much longer. All the best.
