Well, Sameer, I like the missing background. It focuses the photo on the boy. I can't imagine anything in the background that would help interpret his pensive mood. If anything, his head position is kind of neutral, and some other positions (head back, head down, etc.) might bring more emotion to the scene. But really, well done!

sameer the background has been burned. the details from the window are missing. that would have made the pic more appealing
