I've only had the D70S a week or so now, but I'm learning all the time. With any luck, my output will start to improve steadily now. I hope so, anyway.

Yes, isn't it strange how small the world can appear sometimes? I've often thought something similar when seeing some of the photos on here. Some of them could be taken down the road, and then I see they were taken in Canada or Spain or Australia...

Isn't it strange?! We are worlds apart and yet we have here, in Tokyo, a pond that resembles the one in this image! The same assembly of winter fowl and people trying to feed them!
Very beautiful composition. The White bridge and the spire of the cathedral gives it character.

Happy New Year to you too, Tarek! Thanks for your comments. :) I could certainly improve this image with a bit of Photoshopping if I had the time or the inclination, but I quite like it even as it is. The bird right in the centre of the frame was nice, if only that bridge hadn't got in the way! ;)
